ANOTHER PROJECT:

March 2005, The Midtown Rotary Club decided to partner with The Rotary Club of Tulsa North to host a group of Russian marketing directors during July 2005.

The Productivity Enhancement Program (PEP) is an international service project, funded by the U.S. State Department that enables groups of Russian business owners, managers and directors to travel to the U.S. for two (2) weeks of business management training, cultural exchange and introduction to Rotary. The Russians are an industry-specific group of small business owners, marketing directors and decision makers in their companies’ business. While here, the Russian group with the help of both Clubs was kept quite busy in training sessions. Area businesses participated through seminars targeting marketing techniques and business management skills.

The group attended several Rotary meetings, parties and was entertained by their host families. This was a rewarding experience for our Club.
